AUGUST 2008:

·       Pre-productions begins for Guest House Films' MAKE THE YULETIDE GAY.

·       3-DAY WEEKEND, directed by Rob Williams and produced by Matthew Montgomery and Rodney Johnson of Guest House Films hits select theatres in New York City on August 8, 2008.

JULY 2008:

·       Matthew Montgomery is bored out of his mind and looking for something to do other than update the news on his website.

JUNE 2008:

·       In his first Gay Pride appearance ever, Matthew marches with Project Angel Food alongside fellow actors Steve Callahan, Jim J Bullock, and Kirsten Vangsness.

·       Matthew Montgomery as Producer with Guest House Films, begins pre-production on the upcoming gay Christmas comedy, MAKE THE YULETIDE GAY, starring Adamo Ruggiero.

MAY 2008:

·       Matthew begins principle photography on THE REDWOODS, directed by David Lewis and co-starring Brendan Bradley.

·       BACK SOON is released to DVD through TLA Releasing on May 27th .

APRIL 2008:

·       FEAR HOUSE is released to DVD by Life Size Entertainment on April 1st.

·       FilmOut San Diego presents Matthew with Best Actor Award for BACK SOON and SOCKET.

MARCH 2008:

·       Matthew is cast in the gay drama feature, THE REDWOODS, directed by David Lewis (ROCK HAVEN), and stars as Chase - a wandering novelist traveling through Northern California who befriends a local and sparks up a scandalous romance that threatens the foundation of both their present securities.

·       SOCKET is released to DVD through TLA Releasing on March 25th.

FEBRUARY 2008:

·       Matthew begins principle photography on his latest feature film, PORNOGRAPHY - A THRILLER, as Michael Castigan, a writer reviewing pornography who stumbles upon old videotape footage that might be the missing link to an urban legend srrounding the death of a former gay porn star.

NOVEMBER 2007:

·       Principle photography begins on 3-DAY WEEKEND.

·       Matthew is cast in the upcoming psychological horror, PORNOGRAPHY – A THRILLER.

·       LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP is released to DVD.

OCTOBER 2007:

·       TLA acquires BACK SOON.

·       Guest House Films begins development for their third feature film, THREE-DAY WEEKEND, co-produced by Matthew Montgomery.

·       Matthew heads to Philadelphia for PIGLFF2007 for the world premiere of SOCKET.

·       LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP gets centerfold on Here! TV magazine.  Slated to be cable released next month.

·       SOCKET gets a page on Wikipedia.

·       SOCKET screens as an official selection for OUTFEST Los Angeles 2007 on July 20^th at the Regent Showcase Theatre at 8pm.

·       BACK SOON screens as an official selection for OUTFEST Los Angeles 2007 on July 19^th at the Regent Showcase Theatre at 8pm.

·       Matthew begins filming for the new fan-based online episodic, Star Trek Odyssey, starring as Dr. Owen Vaughan.

JUNE 2007:

·       SOCKET gets another article in FANGORIA.

·       BACK SOON screens at NewFest 2007 in New YorkCity.

·       FEAR HOUSE – Matt completes principle photography on this bloody horror film about a group of people trapped in a small castle that manifests their worst fears.  Directed by Michael Morris (LAST SEEN AT ANGKOR), this indie horror flick is slated for a November 2007 DVD release through Life Size Entertainment. Produced by Jim McNally, Nancy Criss of NANDAR ENTERTAINMENT, and Michael Morris.

APRIL 2007:

·       LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP is acquired by Here! TV.

MARCH 2007:

·       BACK SOON screens its world premiere at the Fairfax Cinema as part of the HOLLYWOOD HD/DV FILM FESTIVAL 2007.  In addition, LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP gets a double screening for another film festival at Raleigh Studios.

OCTOBER 2006:

·       GUEST HOUSE FILMS completes principle photography on upcoming dramatic feature BACK SOON, starring Windham Beacham, Matthew Montgomery, Maggie Eillertson & Artie O'Daly and co-produced by Matthew Montgomery.

AUGUST 2006:

·       JOURNEYMAN will be playing at the Idaho Panhandle International Film Festival, which runs from August 24 - 26 in Sandpoint, Idaho.

JUNE 2006:

·       FANGORIA.com posts an article on SOCKET. Clink on the previous link to read.

·       LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP will premier at NewFest in New York City.

·       Matthew has been cast as one of the leads in the upcoming indie sci-fi thriller, SOCKET, directed by Sean Abley.  Principle photography begins in early June.  This movie is a collaboration between Dark Blue Films and Velvet Candy Entertainment.

MAY 2006:

·       JOURNEYMAN wins 3^rd place feature film at the Twin Rivers Media Film Festival for 2006.

·       HIDDEN FRONTIER episode titled "Bound" is now available for download.

APRIL 2006:

·       JOURNEYMAN will be screening at the Twin Rivers Multimedia Festival, from April 28 - May 4 in Asheville, North Carolina.  If you happen to be there, check it out!  Daniel Lee is an amazing director.

MARCH 2006:

·       Online episodic, HIDDEN FRONTIER is now in their final season and Matthew starred in this upcoming episode titled "Bound."

FEBRUARY 2006:

·       Matthew has finished principle photography on THE MIND RASH.  A final cut of this edgy indie film entirely shot on 8mm will be completed in April 2006 and sent out for future festival consideration and possible distribution. In the meantime, you can access more info on Joe Drescher (Dir.) and Thomas Falbo (Writer/Producer) and their production company BiggPendergast Productions on their website.

JANUARY 2006:
